The M8 has been blocked by an overturned lorry during rush hour traffic.
Police and fire crews were called to the crash on the westbound carriageway of the motorway at the Hermiston Gait Roundabout at around 9.10am on Tuesday.
No injuries have been reported.
Emergency services remain on the scene as they prepare for the vehicle to be removed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services are in attendance at Hermiston Gait on the M8 following a crash involving an overturned lorry around 9.10am on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
“The road will be closed shortly to allow recovery of the vehicle and diversions will be in place via the A8.”
Traffic Scotland posted on X: “Lane two (Of two) remains blocked on the #M8 just after the Hermiston Gait Roundabout Westbound due to an overturned lorry.
“Police are still on scene, traffic is coping well.”
