A nursery worker who pulled a girl by the hair and shouted at children has been struck from the register.
Samantha Montgomery was found to have repeatedly shouted at children and placed them in a state of fear or alarm while employed in Livingston between June 1, 2022, and January, 25, 2023.
On one occasion, the children’s worker pulled a girl by her hair.
Montgomery was convicted of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner on July 9, 2024.
The Scottish Social Services Council determined her actions caused her colleagues and those in her care “emotional harm”.
The report read: “Your actions fall far below the standards of conduct expected of you as a social services worker and call into question your suitability to work in the social services profession.”
Montgomery was removed from the register on Friday.
