Man suffers fractured cheek in 'random' attack outside nightclub

Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked outside a nightclub in West Lothian.

The 24-year-old was assaulted outside a nightclub in Carmondean Central Road, Livingston, between 2am and 3am on Sunday, February 28.  

Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a fractured cheek.

Police are now appealing for information as they look to establish the circumstances of the incident.

The suspect is described as male, in his late 20s to early 30s, around 6ft with a medium build, dark hair and was wearing a khaki jacket.

Detective constable Adam Gow said: “This appears to be a random attack on a young man on a night out.

“We know there were other people around when the incident occurred and I am appealing to them to contact us with any information they have.”
