A man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Livingston.
It comes after a 53-year-old man was left in a “serious” condition after being discovered with injuries in the Shiel Walk area of the town.
He was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for further treatment shortly after 12.15am on Sunday, October 30.
Police Scotland have confirmed that a 36-year-old man will appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday, October 31.
