A GP surgery in Edinburgh has been forced to close after thieves broke in and stole laptops and equipment.
Leith Surgery, on Duke Street, said it had closed due to “unforeseen circumstances” on Monday morning.
Police Scotland said it received a report of the break-in shortly before 8am.
Laptops and other equipment had been stolen from the premises.
Police said enquiries were at an early stage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a break-in to and theft from a premises on Duke Street, Edinburgh, around 7.40am on Monday, August 5, 2024.
“Laptops and other equipment has been taken.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing.”
