A large forensics operation is under way after a block of flats was raided on Wednesday.

Police entered one of the high-rise buildings on Broomhead Drive in Dunfermline at around 9.30am.

A number of specialists in white overalls have entered the property and police sniffer dogs have also been deployed.

As of 10am on Wednesday, no arrests had been made but an investigation remains ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Wednesday January 15, 2025, a warrant was executed at Broomhead Drive, Dunfermline. Enquiries are ongoing.”
