A large emergency services response was called to a flat fire in Fife which broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were dispatched to East March Street in Kirkcaldy following reports of the blaze at around 12.45am.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service mobilised three appliances to the scene and extinguished the fire at around 1.56am.
Images taken of the scene shows the extent of the emergency response. It is not known whether there were any injuries.
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “At around 12.45am we received reports of a dwelling fire on East March Street, Kirkcaldy.
“Three appliances were dispatched to the incident. The fire was extinguished at 1.56am.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
