An investigation has been launched after a sexual assault on a railway path in East Lothian during the early hours.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at around 12.50am on Thursday in the Huntlaw Road area in Pencaitland.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around, 12.50am, police received a report of a sexual assault in the Huntlaw Road area of Pencaitland, Tranent.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
