Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was discovered in an Edinburgh flat.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident in Muirhouse Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers are treating the death as unexplained.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 4pm on Tuesday, January 12, the body of a 57-year-old man was found within a flat in Muirhouse Park, Edinburgh.
“Enquiries into his death are continuing and officers remain at the scene.
“His death is being treated as unexplained at this time.”
