A woman has died after being found injured on the Edinburgh bypass in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police were called to a report of an injured woman on the A720 City of Edinburgh Bypass at Lothianburn at 3.30am on October 25.
Emergency services attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30am on Wednesday, October 25, police were called to a report of a woman injured on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass at Lothianburn.
“Emergency services attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
