'Increasing concern' for woman who has been missing since weekend

‘Increasing concern’ for Musselburgh woman who has been missing from East Lothian since weekend Police Scotland

Concerns are growing for the welfare of a woman from East Lothian who has been missing since Sunday.

Kirsty Smith was last seen in the Musselburgh area on the afternoon of January 8.

The 30-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 3in in height and of a slim build with long red/auburn hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a grey quilted jacket, grey polo neck jumper, blue Jeans and trainers.

She was also wearing a black/grey rucksack.

A police spokesperson said: “It’s out of character for Kirsty not to be in touch with her family. We just want to know she is safe and well. Her family are very worried.”
