A manhunt has been launched for three suspects in balaclavas who broke into a property in West Lothian and stole a stash of jewellery.

The theft took place at a home on Northwood Park in the Deans area of Livingston, between 10pm and 10.45pm on Saturday, September 12.

Three men broke into the home and stole a “quantity of jewellery”, according to police.

The three suspects are described as male and were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas. They made off in a light-coloured Volvo.

Detective Constable Michael Fairbanks said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.

“I’d also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage which could assist our enquiries to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3908 of Saturday, September 12, 2026.
