iStockThousands of pounds worth of sporting goods has been stolen by a person wearing a balaclava in West Lothian.
At around 10.50pm on Saturday, a business premises off the A89 near Uphall was broken into, and a four-figure quantity of gear was taken.
Police are searching for a person described as wearing a blue boiler suit, gloves and a balaclava covering their face.
Detective sergeant Kevin Clark said: “Thankfully, no one was injured as a result of this incident, and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to contact us.”
