Police have launched an investigation after a man exposed himself to teenage girls on two separate occasions.

Both incidents took place on rural roads in Forth Valley on Saturday afternoon.

A 14-year-old was walking along Argaty Road, Doune, at 3.15pm when a man got out of a dark car and indecently exposed himself.

A second incident occurred on Myothill Road, Denny, at around 6.50pm.

Two 14-year-old girls walked past a dark car, parked in a layby, when a man got out of the vehicle and exposed himself.

Officers said both incidents left the girls “very upset”.

Police attended both scenes and extensive searches of the areas were carried out.

On each occasion the male perpetrator was seen to be driving a black or grey Mercedes or similar type vehicle, possibly an Audi.

Detective inspector Rob Andrews said: “I know these incidents will be a cause of concern for our local communities but I would like to reassure members of the public that we are working hard to establish the identity of the perpetrator.

“Despite these incidents occurring in semi-rural areas, we will be checking CCTV footage out with these locations for any further information on the car.

“If anyone has any information or knowledge about these incidents please contact us.

“Even the smallest piece of information could prove vital in our investigation.”
