Hunt for man in connection with robbery who could have travelled to Edinburgh

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a robbery in England who could have travelled to Edinburgh.

Chinedu Uwaoma is wanted in connection with a robbery in Hull on December 17, 2024.

Extensive investigations have been carried out in a bid to trace the 48-year-old, and officers now believe that he may have spent time in Edinburgh before returning to Hull.

Anyone who recognises Uwaoma and has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Hull Police on 101, quoting crime reference 24*178388.

It is understood that Uwaoma may have spent time in Edinburgh, although he is believed to have recently returned to the Hull area.
