A hunt has been launched for a driver who stopped at a bus stop in West Lothian, got out of his car and attacked a man who pulled up next to him.
The incident happened at around 8.35pm on Friday, July 25, on Knightsridge East Road near Athol Way in Livingston.
A grey Kia Ceed was stopped at a bus stop when another car pulled up beside to it. The driver of the Kia got out of the vehicle and assaulted the driver of the other car.
Officers are looking to trace the man involved. He is described as white, around 6ft tall, of a slim build, and with balding hair.
There was a woman in the passenger seat of the Kia at the time of the incident.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
Constable Louise Paterson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace the suspect and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who may have information that could assist to get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area, please check to see if you have any dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation.
“Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3861 of Friday, July 25, 2025.”
