Hibernian have passed over CCTV images to police after a glass bottle was thrown on to the pitch during their game against Rangers.

The vodka bottle appeared to be launched towards Rangers player Borna Barisic from the home end as the visitors ran out 3-0 winners.

Police Scotland are currently investigating several incidents of missiles being thrown during the Premiership clash.

An initial review has identified four men believed to be involved in the incidents.

Hibernian now say they will "leave no stone unturned" as they look to identify those responsible for endangering the safety of players and "blackening the name" of the club.

A spokesperson for the Easter Road side said: "We will continue to review the footage, and we expect to identify any others involved.

"Fans must understand that throwing missiles is dangerous for the players and for fellow fans, and it and blackens the good name of the Club.

"All supporters identified as taking part in any unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with by the Club and by the legal process.

"We invested in enhanced CCTV cameras to tackle precisely this kind of behaviour, and those who misbehave should know we will leave no stone unturned to identify them and bring them to book."
