Missing woman last seen late at night in city centre traced

Police are appealing to the public in an effort to trace Chantelle Stewart.

Missing Falkirk woman last seen late at night in Edinburgh city centre on Princes Street traced ‘safe and well’ Police Scotland

A 25-year-old woman missing since late at night on Saturday from a city centre street in Edinburgh has been found.

Chantelle Stewart, who lives in the Falkirk area and was last seen on Princes Street in the capital at around 11pm on Saturday, January 28.

Police confirmed on Monday that she has now been traced “safe and well”.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that 25-year-old Chantelle Stewart, who has been reported missing from the Falkirk area and last seen in Edinburgh, has been traced safe and well.

“We’d like to thank the public for their assistance.”
