A ten-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after she was struck by a car on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to Drum Brae North in Edinburgh following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and vehicle at around 3.45pm.
The road was closed for around an hour and a half following the incident. A 10-year-old girl was transported to hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.45pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 we were called to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at Drum Brae Road, Edinburgh.
“The pedestrian, a ten-year-old girl, was taken to hospital for treatment, and the road was closed for around one hour and 30 minutes.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
