A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a motorbike that was being driven through a park in Falkirk.
The four-year-old girl was at the park with 15 to 20 other children when she was struck and injured.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Monday and the child was taken to hospital.
She has since made a full recovery.
Following the incident, a motorcycle has been seized and a 16-year-old male has been charged with multiple road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Monday, August 12, 2024 police responded to reports of a four-year-old female who had been struck and injured by a motorcycle being driven in a park in the Falkirk area.
“At the time of the incident, 15-20 children were playing within the park.
“The child was taken to hospital and has since made a full recovery from her injuries.
“Subsequent enquiries carried out included the seizure of a motorcycle and a 16-year-old male being charged with multiple road traffic offences.
“The male will be subject of a joint report to the Procurator Fiscal and the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.”
