Further arrests have been made in connection with the suspected ‘targeted shooting’ of a man in Armadale.
Emergency services were called to reports of an injured man at an address on Harestanes Road at around 11.50am on Saturday, September 12.
Billy Watson, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have now confirmed two more men have been arrested in connection with his death.
It comes after officers on Thursday announced a 57-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death, which is being treated as a targeted murder.
Detectives say a post-mortem revealed Mr Watson suffered fatal injuries consistent with being shot by a firearm.
The man is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Friday.
On Friday, police confirmed two further men, aged 29 and 44, have been arrested, and officers say enquiries remain ongoing.
Detective superintendent Michelle Findlay said: “We are continuing to offer Billy’s family support as the investigation progresses.
“They are understandably shocked and devastated by what has happened. It’s imperative to establish why he was killed and get answers for his family and friends.”
