A four-year-old boy has died after a car he was travelling in crashed in West Lothian on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the crash which involved a black Range Rover on Drumcross Road, between Limefield Road and Drumcross Farm, near Bathgate at around 4.30pm on November 6.
The boy was taken by ambulance to St John’s Hospital in Livingston where he died a short time later.

The road was closed to allow officers to carry out crash investigation enquiries.
Sergeant Dave Waddell said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the boy who died at this extremely difficult time.
“Enquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash, or has any information that may assist, to contact us if they have not already done so.
“I’d also ask drivers with dash-cams, who were in the area around the time, to review their footage for any images that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2468 of Friday, November 6, 2026.
