Four teenagers charged after ‘break-in and vandalism’ at Hibernian’s Easter Road stadium SNS Group

Four youths have been charged after allegedly breaking into a football stadium in Edinburgh.

Easter Road stadium, which is the home ground of Scottish Premiership club Hibernian, was broken into and vandalised in the early hours of Saturday, April 6.

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and were due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on April 8.

Two girls, both aged 13, were also charged in connection.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Four youths have been charged in connection with a break-in and vandalism caused at Easter Road Stadium, in the Albion Road area of Edinburgh, which was reported around 1am on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

“Two boys, aged 15 and 16 were arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, April 8, 2024. Two female youths, both aged 13 were charged in connection and a report will be sent to the relevant authority.”
