Fortnite and Final Fantasy video game tech used to showcase Edinburgh skyline views from penthouse Kelvin Properties

Video game technology used in Fortnite and Final Fantasy is showcasing the Edinburgh skyline from a penthouse development for the first time in Scotland.

Prospective buyers of the properties at the 67 St Bernard’s project, in the Canonmills area of the capital will be given virtual tours of the properties using the Unreal Engine software, providing “hyper-realistic” CGI walkthroughs of the apartments.

It is one of the first times the tech has been used by a property developer in Scotland.

Sales for the project officially launched on September 8 and Savills have received more than 600 inquiries – making it the most highly anticipated development the estate agent has seen in Edinburgh.

Apartments in upper floors have views stretching across the Edinburgh skyline as far as Calton Hill, Arthurs Seat, and Edinburgh Castle.

Properties at the development are set for completion next summer and went on sale on Friday.
