Three men and two women have been charged after a significant stash of drugs was uncovered at a property in Fife.

Officers carried out a proactive enforcement operation at an address on Rosewell Crescent in Lochore on Wednesday, September 16.

Class A and B drugs with an estimated street value of approximately £46,700 were recovered during the raid.

Following the seizure, five people were arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Three males, aged 48, 41, 26 and two females aged 35, 28 are expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Thursday, September 17.

Community Sergeant John Nicol said “This recovery demonstrates our ongoing commitment to disrupting the supply of illegal drugs in our local communities.

“Drugs bring misery to families and feed wider criminal activity, and we will continue to target those who choose to involve themselves in their distribution.”

“Our officers rely on the vital support of the public to help us tackle drug misuse. If you have concerns or information about illegal drug activity in your area, please report it so we can take action.”
