Firefighters have worked through the night to tackle a fire at a block of flats in Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called to Craigmount Brae just after 3pm on Wednesday to reports of a blaze in an upper flat and its roof space, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said.

The nearby East Craigs Primary School was evacuated as a precaution.

Four fire engines and two height appliances remained at the scene as of 6.30am on Thursday.

There are no reports of any casualties.
