Firefighters battled a deliberate blaze at an industrial estate in Livingston for over ten hours.
Emergency services were called to a derelict building at Deans Industrial Estate around 3.20pm on Sunday following reports of a fire.
Four fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene.
Flames ripped through the building’s roof, and large plumes of smoke could be seen from the M8.
The fire was brought under control in the early hours of Monday, and crews have now left the scene.
Police are treating the fire as deliberate, and investigations are ongoing.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.20pm on Sunday, June 14, to reports of a derelict building fire at Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances and a height vehicle to the scene, and crews left at 12.48am on Monday, June 15, after working to make the area safe.
“There were no reported casualties.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026, officers received a report of a fire on Caputhall Road, Livingston.
“The fire is being treated as wilful, and enquiries are ongoing.”
