Fire crews were called to an Edinburgh city centre hotel on Saturday evening after a blaze broke out on the sixth floor.
Emergency services were called shortly after 5pm on January 7 to reports of a fire which had broken out at the Haymarket Hub hotel on Clifton Terrace.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent five appliances and one height appliance to the scene.
There were no reported casualties and the fire was extinguished at 8.58pm with crews remaining at the incident until approximately 12.50am on Sunday morning.
While the incident was ongoing, Edinburgh Trams said that it had to run a short service due to the road being blocked by emergency service vehicles, however the full service has now resumed.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 5.07pm on Saturday, January 7 to reports of a fire at the Haymarket Hub hotel on Clifton Terrace.
“Operations control mobilised five appliances and one height appliance to a fire affecting the sixth floor of the hotel.
“There are no reported casualties.”
