Fire crews battle late night blaze at house

Crews were called to Dunfermline's Adamson Crescent at around 11pm on Wednesday

Fire crews battled a well-developed blaze at a house in Fife on Wednesday night.

Four engines were called to Dunfermline’s Adamson Crescent at around 11pm after a fire broke out.

Footage from the scene shows a window engulfed by orange flames as crews battled to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and made the area safe before leaving the area. There were no casualties.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.06pm on Wednesday, January 28 to reports of a fire within a dwelling in Dunfermline.

“Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the town’s Adamson Crescent, where firefighters extinguished the fire and worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene.

“There were no casualties.”
