Fire crews are at the scene of a blaze at a chip shop in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the Sultan Takeaway at Bughtlin Market in East Craigs after the alarm was raised shortly before 4.30pm on Monday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent seven appliances to the scene.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted to the fire at 4.27pm on Monday.
“We currently have seven appliances at the scene including two special appliances.”
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
