A road in Fife has reopened more than 15 hours after a crash, which resulted in two people being taken to hospital on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to the A92 near Kilmany at around 4.20pm following a two-vehicle collision.

Two people were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers arrested a 43-year-old man in connection. An investigation is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A92 has reopened near Kilmany following a crash involving two vehicles which was reported around 4.20pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

“Emergency services attended and two people were taken to hospital for treatment.

“A 43-year-old man was arrested in connection with road traffic offences, and enquiries are ongoing.”
