Family tribute to ‘loving dad’ killed in motorbike crash

The family of a man killed in a motorcycle crash have paid tribute to a “loving husband and father”.

Tam Neil, from Denny, died in a crash with a car on Roman Road, Plean, on Sunday.

The 52-year-old biker was pronounced dead at the scene around 1pm on Sunday.

His family issued a statement to the dad of two through Police Scotland.

It said: “Tam Neil, devoted husband of Sharon Neil.

“Loving son, brother, stepdad, papa, uncle and father of two daughters, Jacqueline and Amanda.

“He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.”

Police want anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.

Sergeant David Ross, of Stirling road policing unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family during this extremely difficult time. 

“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue and anyone with any information is asked to contact police through 101.”
