The family of a teenager killed in a road crash has said he was “the perfect person and we will forever love him”.

Pedestrian Joshua Kerr, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering serious injuries in the single-vehicle smash at Little Balquhomrie Farm near Glenrothes, Fife, at around 11.10am on Friday.

In a statement released through police, Mr Kerr’s family said: “His mum, dad, little brother and anyone that ever knew Josh will never forget him. 

“He was the perfect person and we will forever love him.”

An 18-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with Mr Kerr’s death.

She is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective inspector John Easton said: “This was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider community. 

“We are keen to talk to anyone who may be able to help with our investigation.”
