The family of a man found dead at a house in Fife has described him “deeply loved”.

Henry White, 57, was discovered dead at a property on Erskine Wynd in Oakley, near Dunfermline just after 6am on Wednesday.

Police later confirmed a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with his death.

He is expected to appear in Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Friday.

In a statement, the family of Mr White said: “Henry was a deeply loved and respected member of our family. He will be much missed.

“We would ask that our privacy is respected at this time and we try to come to terms with this loss.”
