Family of missing teenage boy, 15, last seen in Livingston 'distressed' as police appeal for information

Update: Brandon Hodgson, reported missing from Livingston, has been traced safe and well.

The ‘distressed’ family of a missing teenage boy who hasn’t been seen for almost a week are urging members of the public to come forward with any information following his disappearance.

Brandon Hodgson was last seen in the Howden area around 9pm on Monday, May 13.

The 15-year-old hasn’t been seen or heard from since and concerns are growing for his welfare.

Brandon is described as around 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with short brown curly hair.

Chief inspector Jocelyn Thomas said: “It has now been a week since Brandon was last seen and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. This is a very distressing time for his family.

“He is known to frequent the Wester Hailes area of Edinburgh.

“We have been liaising with public transport companies and reviewing CCTV to gather further information.

“We would ask anyone who has seen Brandon to contact Police Scotland on 101 as soon as possible, quoting incident number 4205 of May 13, 2024.”
