The airport announced daily flights to Dubai from the capital will resume in November.

Emirates will relaunch flights from Edinburgh Airport to Dubai following the Covid suspension.

The airport announced the “eagerly awaited” return of daily flights to Dubai from the capital will resume in November.

The service has been suspended since the pandemic, however flights will resume from November 4.

Customers will be able to travel to Dubai from Edinburgh on an A350 aircraft, fitted out with 32 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 259 economy class seats.

Services from Dubai to Edinburgh will run daily, taking off at 2.50pm and landing at 7.05pm, with services from Edinburgh to Dubai taking off at 8.40pm and arriving at 8.05am.

Gordon Dewar, chief executive of Edinburgh Airport said: “We are thrilled to welcome Emirates back to Scotland’s capital and busiest airport.

“The resumption of daily flights between Edinburgh and Dubai is a huge show of confidence in our

providing direct access to Dubai and opening up fantastic connectivity to other parts of the world.
