An elderly woman has died days after she was hit by a car outside the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Emergency services, including three fire engines and specialist resources, were called to the hospital at around 3.49pm on Monday following a one-vehicle crash.
An elderly woman and man suffered significant injuries after they were struck by a red Peugeot 208.
The 85-year-old woman died in hospital on Thursday morning. The 88-year-old man remains in the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
