An elderly man has been taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car in Edinburgh City Centre.
Emergency services were called to Princes Street at around 5.35pm on Friday, June 21, after receiving reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car.
An 83-year-old was subsequently taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or dash cam footage into the incident.
Constable Chris Beddows said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We also ask motorists with dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
