Two are to appear in court in connection with two men murdered in a flat block in Edinburgh.
Desmond Rowlings, 66, and 37-year-old Derek Johnston, both from the capital were found dead at a flat in Greendykes Road in the Greendykes area at around 8.25pm on Tuesday, November 1.
Ian John MacLeod, 66, and Dean MacLeod, 41, will appear at the High Court in Glasgow on Tuesday after each being arrested and charged with two counts of murder.
Neither made any plea at the hearings held in November.
Mr Rowling’s daughters described their father as “a loving, happy go lucky man who kept himself to himself”.
In a statement they said: “He will be forever missed and remembered with love. As a family we ask for respect and privacy whilst we come to terms during this extremely difficult time.”
The mother and sister of 37-year-old Mr Johnston described him as “a deeply loved son and brother.”
The family’s statement added: “My handsome boy who had such a beautiful soul, our hearts will never mend, he will be forever missed and remembered with much love and affection.
“As a family we ask for respect and privacy during this extremely difficult time.”
