Commuters have been warned of travel disruption as a signalling fault left trains unable to leave an Edinburgh depot.
Scotrail announced that services would be limited on Tuesday morning due to a “signal fault” at Haymarket depot.
The train operator has said that staff from Network Rail are on site currently working on repairs.
The fault is causing disruption on the Edinburgh to Glasgow line, as well as services to Fife, Dunblane, and further north to Aberdeen and Inverness.
Passengers have been urged to check for updates on the Scotrail website.
