A Jet2 flight from Edinburgh to Lanzarote was diverted on Thursday due to an onboard medical emergency.
Flight LS785 departed the Scottish capital at 8.23am before pilots issued an alert regarding a passenger requiring assistance.
The plane was diverted to Manchester Airport and met by medical crews.
Jet2 has confirmed the flight is continuing its journey to Lanzarote.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm that flight LS785 from Edinburgh to Lanzarote diverted to Manchester earlier today (Thursday, December 18) due to a customer requiring medical assistance.
“The flight is continuing its journey to Lanzarote.”
