A vandalised home and two vehicle fires in Edinburgh have been linked to an ongoing gang war.
Emergency services were called to Gorgie Road following reports of two vehicles on fire around 4.40am on Tuesday.
Just over four hours later a property on Bellenden Gardens was vandalised. There were no reported injuries following either incident.
It is believed that the act of vandalism and the fires are connected to a criminal feud which has spread across Scotland’s largest cities.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40am on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, officers received a report of two vehicles on fire in the Gorgie Road area of Edinburgh.
“There were no reported injuries.
“Enquiries into the cause of the fires are ongoing.
They added: “Around 8.50am on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, we were called to a report of a vandalism at a property on Bellenden Gardens, Edinburgh.

“There were no reports of any injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area at the time is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0416 of May 6, 2025.”
Officers have arrested a total of 26 people in connection with the criminal feud.
DCS David Ferry previously stated the operation is the biggest in the country in terms of resources and “the most significant in Scotland”.
