An Edinburgh easyJet flight to the Canary Islands was diverted on Tuesday following reports of an issue.
Flight EZY3211 to Fuerteventura landed in Porto after the pilot was alerted to a technical issue.
Passengers disembarked the craft while a replacement plane and crew were organised for the afternoon.
An easyJet spokesperson said: “Flight EZY3211 from Edinburgh to Fuerteventura today diverted to Porto due to a technical issue.
“The pilot performed a routine landing in Porto where we are providing customers with refreshments in the terminal and we have arranged for a replacement aircraft and crew to continue the flight to Fuerteventura this afternoon.
“The safety of our customers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority and easyJet operates its fleet of aircraft in strict compliance with all manufacturers’ guidelines.”
