Traffic ScotlandMotorists have been warned to expect delays on the M8 following a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday evening.
A clear-up operation is under way on the westbound carriageway between junction 1 and junction 2 near Hermiston.
Rush hour delays are to be expected.
A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: “Police are holding traffic for clear-up of an earlier multi-vehicle collision.
“Road users are advised to expect longer travel times.
“Delays back to Hermiston, approx. 15 minutes.”
