Drivers on M9 told to expect 'lengthy delays' after rush hour crash

Drivers on the M9 have been told to expect ‘ lengthy delays’ following a rush hour crash.

Traffic Scotland issued an alert regarding the incident between junctions six and seven heading southbound at around 7.47am.

The collision has restricted travel along the busy motorway near Falkirk. Drivers have been warned to expect delays of up to 45 minutes and to use other routes.

Emergency services are in attendance.

The number of vehicles involved and nature of any injuries is not known.
