A person has been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision on a major motorway near West Lothian on Thursday morning.
Traffic Scotland said that a collision occurred on the M8 eastbound at J3 which is blocking one of the lanes.
Motorists in the area are facing a delay of approximately 45 minutes and traffic is heavy in the area.
The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that one person had been taken to hospital as a result of the crash.
The extent of their injuries is unknown.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.25am on Thursday, June 22, police were called to a report of a three-vehicle road crash on the M8 eastbound near junction 3, Livingston.
“Officers are at the scene assisting.”
