Two drivers were caught ‘racing’ each other at more than 100mph on a Fife road.

Police said they stopped the two motorists driving along the A92 in Lochgelly, Fife, at speeds between 100-105 mph.

Officers confirmed the drivers involved have been reported to the procurator fiscal.

In a post shared on Twitter, Road Policing Scotland, said: “#FifeRP stopped 2 cars racing at speeds between 100-105 mph last night on the A92.

“Both drivers reported for racing on a public road & likely to be disqualified.

“For those thinking about doing the same…don’t! It’s illegal & dangerous!”
