Driver taken to hospital and fined after crash near secondary school

A driver has been fined following a crash in West Calder.

Police received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Limefield Lane near West Calder High School around 8.30am on Monday.

One driver was taken to hospital and issued with a fine.

A police spokesperson said: “Around 8.30am on Monday, September 28, we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Limefield Lane, West Calder.

“One driver was taken to hospital for treatment and given a Fixed Penalty Notice.”
