iStockA man has been charged almost a year after a man was knocked down and killed while walking his down in Loanhead.
The 88-year-old man was struck by a Honda Civic car while walking on Nivensknowe Road on December 19, 2023.
He was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries on December 23.
The man’s dog also passed away.
A 51-year-old driver of the car has now been charged in connection with a road traffic offence.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
