A driver has been charged after a police pursuit through Fife during the early hours of the morning.
A Ford Kuga failed to stop for police on Kingslaw Avenue in Kirkcaldy at around 2.15am. Officers traced the car near Buckhaven, which resulted in a chase breaking out.
The vehicle stopped on Kingslaw Avenue in Kirkcaldy, and the 21-year-old driver was charged.
He is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.15am on Friday, October 3, 2025, a Ford Kuga failed to stop for officers on Kingslaw Avenue, Kirkcaldy.
“Enquiries were carried out to trace the car, and it was seen by officers a short time later near Buckhaven.
“A vehicle pursuit took place and the vehicle stopped on Kingslaw Avenue, Kirkcaldy. The 21-year-old driver was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Friday, October 3, 2025.”
